UI/UX for new Instagram Product – Slidekitty

In creating Slidekitty, a tool that allows people to view any public Instagram profile in a slideshow format (something that I posted about here), I wanted to design a clean and simple to use interface where users can just type in an Instagram profile name (or hashtag), press GO and the slideshow would show up. Immediately, I thought of the Google homepage as inspiration. The user action is something that we all do every day now, type and go.
